His parents were Wayne Harris and Katherine Poole.Wayne Harris was U.S Air Force transport pilot he left the service in 1993.Katherine Poole was a homemaker.They moved from Pittsburgh,New York to
Littleton,Colorado also in 1993.They lived in the area of Jefferson County.In 1996 Eric Harris Met Dylan Kelbold.In that year the Harris family purchased a house south of Columbine High School.
Before the shooting there were accounts of Eric and Dylan were frequent targets for bullying.
Also Eric and Dylan both worked at Blackjack Pizza and were both students of Columbine High School.
Eric also had a huge crush on Dylan's friend Devan Adams but she was dating one of his friends.
He blamed her for taking her boyfriend from Eric and Dylan so now it was just the two of them.
In their journal they had nicknames Eric was Rebel.Eric also had a diary he wrote about death and saw himself as a warrior on the battlefield.But in Eric's diary he was interested in Naziism and the KKK and in his journal he wrote a lot about genocide. A quote from his diary he wrote "KILL MANKIND." Most of his diary is about hatred toward everything.
